Over time I’ve learned that finding a good fare is less about a secret trick and more about knowing what a good price looks like when you see one.

How Giulia judges a fare
Know what a good fare looks like, start watching early, and book when you see it.
- For peak-season trips I start tracking four to six months ahead, before I’m ready to book. Mostly to learn what a normal fare looks like.
- I judge a fare against the normal range for that route and those dates, not against the first price I saw.
