Every hour, around the clock, we re-price a slice of the routes we watch and sweep the deal wires for anything new. Fares move constantly, and the good ones rarely last a full day.

The bar
A low price is the beginning of the test, not the end of it. Here is the ground we cover, and the three things a fare has to clear to earn an email.
We take the median price for that same route across a spread of nearby dates, not a made-up "list price". If too few comparison prices come back to be sure, the fare goes out with no percentage at all rather than a flattering one.
Self-transfers that void your protection, separate tickets, connections that change airport, overnight waits and six-hour layovers get dropped, however low the number is.
Fares we price ourselves get a second reading on Google Flights before the email goes out. If the price has moved by more than a tenth, it never sends; the ones that hold say so on the deal itself.

Travel sites have trained everyone to expect a catch. It is fair to ask where ours is.
The money comes from commission on some of the booking links, paid out of the booking site's own margin rather than added to your fare. That is the entire business model, and because the ranking never sees it, the deals themselves stay exactly as we found them.
The email
One fare leads, with the price it usually sits at and how far below that it landed. The others follow as a short list, and a fare with no reliable price history simply arrives without a percentage.
There is no advertising in it. No banner, no sponsored fare, no partner slot under the fold. Every line is either a fare, the price behind it, or the way out.

Yes, and there is no paid tier waiting behind it. Some of the booking links pay us a commission, and that is the whole of how this is funded. You never pay us, and the fare costs you the same either way.
At most one a day, and only on the days something clears the bar. Plenty of days nothing does, so nothing arrives. We would rather send nothing than pad the list with fares that are merely fine, because the moment you start skimming past them the whole thing stops working.
You choose the departure airports, not the arrivals. The best fares are the ones you did not think to look for, and filtering by destination in advance quietly removes most of them. You can set how far you want to go, though: fares within your country, elsewhere in your continent, to another continent, or any combination of the three.
It happens, and it is the part we like least. Fares we price ourselves are read a second time on Google Flights before the email goes out, but airlines can pull inventory without warning. Reply to the email and we will take the deal down and note it against that route.
No. There is deliberately no Vollarie checkout and we never handle your payment. You book wherever the fare actually lives, so changes, refunds and disruption cover follow that provider's rules, and we are not a layer standing between you and them.
The picker lists every airport we currently have live fares from, across Europe and a growing set of North American hubs, so it grows and shifts with the deals themselves. If yours is missing, say so when you sign up: that list is the main thing shaping what we build next.
When you book through one of our links, some booking sites pay us a share of what they already earn on the sale. It is taken out of their margin, not added to your fare, and the ranking that decides which fares you see never looks at it. Nobody can pay to be in the email.
